Create porcelain works using your drawings
Use your drawings to create a unique set of multiples. Porcelain plates will be fired using laser-printed decals, then you can add colour using traditional china paints. Your original drawings will be scanned to create the decals. Or bring a range of your ceramic pieces and experiment with firing decals on their surfaces. The decals will be fired on Saturday night ready for hand-tinting on Sunday. You can leave your pieces to be fired or take them home for the second firing.
Image shows porcelain plates after first firing, by Dianne Longley at top, and Deidre Chestney below. Deidre brought a range of her ceramic ware in 2016 and they all worked with the laser printed decals.
