AGAVE PRINT STUDIO offers access to printmakers wanting to use studio equipment and to people attending workshops to implement new techniques into their printmaking practices. Make prints in a relaxed and cooperative environment.
AGAVE PRINT WORKSHOP promotes a safe work environment. Citrus solvent is used as a substitute for mineral turpentine. It is environmentally friendly and has a pleasant citrus smell. Citrus solvent cleans rollers, photopolymer and metal plates, lino and wood blocks. A product by Bygum which is a spray bottle with 80% methylated spirits and 20% eucalyptus is a great cleaner for the polycarbonate sheet on the press bed and ink traces on glass bench tops.
You can also hire the studio to print work for exhibitions or artist books.
AGAVE PRINT STUDIO provides a professional studio in a beautiful rural environment. Listen to the kookaburras while you print and kangaroos and kookaburras can sometimes be seen from the studio windows!
