Description

Create an A5 photopolymer plate with additional colour layer using the chine collé technique. You will use Adobe Photoshop to create a greyscale layer and colour layer from your original colour photograph. The chine collé layer will be printed via an inkjet printer onto Japanese paper. The photopolymer plate will be printed with the coloured chine collé layer offering strong and subtle options in the finished print.

This is an intermediate workshop and is offered as a 2-day workshop for 2, 3 or 4 participants.

Fee includes a light lunch (vegetarian options) and materials kit of 1 or 2 x A5 Printight KM95 photopolymer plates, test plate, Japanese paper, carrier printmaking paper usually Somerset, and general printmaking materials.
