Printmaking Studio in Trentham, Victoria
Workshops at Agave Print Studio are either scheduled workshops or custom workshops. Scheduled workshops are offered at set dates. The maximum of 4 participants allows for focused tuition on the workshop technique/s and processes. There are two bedrooms upstairs if you require accommodation. If there is a scheduled workshop and the dates don’t suit, you can request to do the workshop as a custom workshop with a minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 participants.
A materials kit is provided as part of the workshop fee, and additional materials can be purchased during a workshop. Morning tea and light lunches (vegetarian options) are also included.
In late July and early August 2021 I am the featured artist at the Foundry Arts Space in Echuca. I have an exhibition opening at 6pm on Friday July 23, and I am also running a series of workshops.

No previous experience necessary. Workshops can be taken as a series or individually. Morning tea and lunch provided.

The beautiful paper is sensitized and dried in dark area. The you create your design/collage with plants, textures, found materials and place in a contact frame with the cyanotype paper. Embossed printing plates can be made using plants, textures, fabrics placed directly on the plate surface and exposed to UV light (sunlight or UV unit). Please bring to the workshop small plants, weeds and leaves, flattened if possible. The plate size is 15 x 10cm so you can make an arrangement of your plants on (more…)
