We will use hand-drawn images on double matt drafting film to create the relief printing plate. Discover the amazing detail possible in the photopolymer relief printing plate. You will draw with opaque pens, posca pens, or paint with gouache. Your drawing is placed onto the plate and exposed to sunlight or a UV light unit. The plate is then washed out in tap water, dried and hardened. We will print onto Japanese and Western fine art papers.

A workshop for anyone wanting to create hand-crafted relief prints, no previous experience necessary.

Fee includes light lunch and all materials: $250
Maximum 4 participants. Covid-safe lunch in outdoor area, in beautiful garden setting.
