Description

Create an edition of ex-libris bookplates; small decorative labels which are pasted inside a book’s cover to confirm ownership. Create a bookplate with personal design elements expressing your interests combined into an individual design. You will make a strong drawing with good contrast, this is then scanned and a film negative is printed onto transparency film. A relief/letterpress photopolymer plate will be created and printed using a choice of platten printed presses.

This is an introductory workshop and is offered as a 1-day workshop for 2, 3 or 4 participants.

Fee includes gst, a light lunch (vegetarian options) and materials kit of 2 x A7 Printight KM95 photopolymer plates, test plate, Japanese paper, printmaking paper usually Somerset, and general printmaking materials.
